#1. Kevin Garnett V. Tim Duncan

Reason: Apparently, Tim Duncan does not like Kevin Garnett (outside of Celtics fans, who does?). Primarily stemming back to a Mother’s Day incident among other reasons, Tim is actually the one to request this fight and it is made the headliner.

Result: You can feel the excitement is in the air as the main event starts. Each opponent comes out & shakes hands but you can see a tension as each one stares down the other, not letting go. The ref comes to break them up before the fight, starting each opponent in their respective corners. Kevin talks to him self and butts his head against his trainer. As the bell rings, Timmy comes out with a couple kicks to the legs, using his fundamentals skills. Kevin soon gets wise forcing the action closer and delivers a huge body shot, taking Tim’s breath away. Garnett then delivers a punishing kick to Timmy’s knee. Tim’s knee is clearly sprained & Kevin Garnett gets a little over zealous & gets on all fours to bark like a dog. Tim then puts his weight on his bad knee while clearly wincing in pain and unloads a Matt Prater kick right between the eyes, dislodging several of Garnett’s teeth. Now lying on his back, Tim again puts all the weight on his bad knee while clearly in a lot of pain & stomps on Garnett’s face, permanently leaving shoe mark scars on Garnett & ending the match. Now, Garnett has a face to match his personality. Apparently, all those bar fights didn’t help.

HM: James Harden V. Metta World Peace

Reason: During a game last year, Ron Artest AKA Metta World Peace AKA Metta world crazy, hits Harden with an “accidental” elbow to the head after celebrating a successful play. Things got a little chippy in the playoffs even & after MWP’s Lakers were eliminated he had some words about James Harden’s performance in the Finals this year.

Result: While sitting in the stands watching the action, MWP gets a little too excited for Pau’s victory and inadvertently (for real this time) hits Harden in the face with his elbow again. Harden reaches into his beard and pulls out a beer which he throws at MWP. MWP has flash backs to the Malice in the Palace & attempts to climb the chair to get to Harden. However, as MWP puts his left foot up, James Harden grabs it & sinks his teeth into MWP’s calf deeply, necessitating a trip to the hospital for a stitching specialist due to uneven bite wounds.
