2012-2013 Magic Marketing Plan Outlook: Not So Good

The Orlando Magic are in the process of losing their Superstar & #1 attraction in Dwight Howard. You can tell things aren’t going well for the Magic when this is the pull to buy season tickets:

$11 per seat is REALLY cheap for season tickets so I have to think the Magic know how bad things are for them. Don’t worry, they also have J.J. Redick one of these to help them sell season tickets too, so they should be in good shape still ( Still upset over Ryan Anderson being traded, they say good die young James Clay). It’s easy to be all doom and gloom about this but let’s look at all the great upsides of buying season tickets:

  • Hedo Turkoglu will FINALLY be the #1 option. Who else is excited for this!? No, you don’t count, Hedo...

  • The Magic’s slogan next year will be “The Orlando Magic: Hey, At Least we aren’t the Bobcats”. Chip Bowers, Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships & Marketing, has really earned his pay check on that one.

  • Great golf guys, plus Disney World, Universal Studios & Sea World didn’t get traded. Did I mention the golf? Great golf….just great...

  • Glen Davis may try to eat one of the rookies as a half time snack.

  • No Ticket price increase for rounds one & TWO in the playoffs (hahaha, they so adorable when they think they are getting into the playoffs let alone round two)

There gotta be even more upside than this to buying some AWESOME season tickets from the Orlando Magic & watching Big Baby put on a show. Leave your suggestions in the comments below, I dare ya.
